Our Vision

Purpose [Mission Statement]:

 

To provide a program that develops young males into maturity by growing them spiritually, stabilizing them mentally, expanding them culturally and developing in them a sense of communal responsibility through a series of teachings, community service projects and team building assignments.

 

Vision [Long Term Goal for the Purpose]:

 

The vision of Project Timothy is to see the seeds of Project Timothy grow in the lives of the young males developing them into mature Christian men who project the image of Christ by influencing their family, friends, and communities and providing a light in darkness in the world.

 

Objectives [Measurement of Success of the Vision]:

 

The objectives of Program Timothy are to see young males:

  • Understand what it means to be born a male (Genesis 1:26, 27)

  • Desire to fulfill their God-given purpose (Jeremiah 1:5; 29:11)

  • Develop a servants heart of caring and ministering to others (II Corinthians 8:16)

  • Walk in Love and Unity with All mankind (Colossians 3:14)

  • Have the confidence to face their fears (II Timothy 1:7)

  • Live lifestyles that glorify God in their spirit, soul and body (I Corinthians 6:20)

  • Become the sons of God that all creation is waiting for (Romans 8:19)

Tactics [Action Items to Accomplishing the Objectives]:

 

The ways and means whereby the objective will be accomplished:

  • Principle Teachings (18 principles/year)

  • Community Service Projects (at least 4 per year)

  • Team Building Projects (3 short term and 1 long term per year)

  • Male Bonding Sessions (2 per year)

  • Male Mentorship (Continuous)

  • Camp Trip (optional)

  • Missions Trip (optional)
